Product Description

Now that you have purchased a Kindle, how do you find good books to read? The Kindle Reader, written by a librarian and bibliophile, is all about saving you time in your search for that elusive "good read." Featuring regular posts like Genre Watch (the newest mystery, sci-fi, romance, fantasy and western fiction for your Kindle), E-books on the Cheap (a selection of free e-books from a variety of sources), Kindle books reviewed in Entertainment Weekly magazine, and reviews of historical fiction, biographies, and nonfiction, the Kindle Reader is updated regularly every other day.

Kindle blogs are fully downloaded onto your Kindle so you can read them even when you're not wirelessly connected. And unlike RSS readers which often only provide headlines, blogs on Kindle give you full text content and images, and are updated wirelessly throughout the day.

Everything you need to find Kindle books

This is the blog I'd hoped that Amazon would write. It keeps you up-to-date with new books published for the Kindle as well as suggesting free Kindle books you might enjoy. There are regular features like Genre Watch (new mystery/thrillers, romance, science fiction, fantasy and western fiction for the Kindle), E-Books on the Cheap (free and inexpensive books for your Kindle), info on author publicity appearances scheduled for TV, etc. The blog is written by a librarian who keeps coming up with new features - all about reading for enjoyment on the Kindle. The Kindle Reader

Jan has one of the best all around blogs for those searching for a wide variety of books to consider. She's very democratic and will point out all sorts of books to consider. She uses a variety of book review sources from which to draw upon. You get a lot for your monthly fee. Her web site in general is a fountain of information about the Kindle itself.
Content rules, downplays the tool

The Kindle platform and tool is widely discussed and documented. Jan moves us beyond the interaction with our beloved device, to its purpose: well-informed content selection. A current, collected, organized menu of reading options - this blog helps hone what I stock inside my Kindle's pantry. Thanks!
