I’m thinking about buying the Kindle 2 from Amazon, and I was wondering what everyone has to say about it. I don’t want to spend 400 dollars on something that I’m not going to enjoy. Any and all thoughts will be welcome.

How Do You Save Newspaper Subscriptions On Your Kindle Indefinitely?
My boss has a Kindle. He wants to be able to save his New York Times papers indefinitely. He’d also like to be able to choose certain issues of other papers for unlimited amounts of time. So far I can only find that it auto saves for 7 days. Any ideas?

What Does A New Model Kindle Do That A Cheaper Netbook Or Notebook Full Computer Can’t Do?
I have never used an Amazon Kindle but looking at their prices I see that they cost as much as some Notebook computers and they are more expensive than a lot of netbooks. What does a Kindle do that a comparable price notebook computer does not do? It seems to me that a cheaper netbook or notebook can do all that a KIndle would do but so much more. Please advise if you have experience with a Kindle.
Would You Recommend Kindle (digital Reading Device) For Short-sighted People?
I’m a book worm and Kindle may seem to be the best device for reading. However, I have myopia(short-sighted) and I wonder whether using Kindle would damage my eyes or not.

What Do You Think Of Amazon’s Kindle Reading Device?
At first I was interested because it would be nice to be able to carry around all of my texts on one little device… but then i thought to myself that reading off something electronic won’t ever feel the same as turning the pages and feeling the paper myself. I also am the kind of person who likes to own their books. Does anyone here have kindle? What are your thoughts on it?
