Based on the input of loyal M-Edge customers, this custom designed booklight has been developed to work seamlessly with the M-Edge Executive, Platform, Latitude and GO! Jackets for Latest Generation Amazon Kindle DX. The powerful light features a super-bright LED light bulb which provides ample illumination for the screen of the Reader screen while a mirrored reflector and optical quality lens disperses the light uniformly.The light is powered by a standard AAA battery (not included) with endurance enough for more than 20 hours of operation without dimming.The light is operated by a three position switch with two light intensity settings.A flexible and resilient steel neck allows the user to position the light in the desired direction.Perhaps the most impressive feature of this light is that it is designed to be stored via a slim support arm sized to match a pocket sewn into the back of many of M-Edge Jackets for the Amazon Kindle. Fantastic little light!

I purchased this light for night time reading on my Kindle (both regular and DX). It fits *perfectly* inside the M-Edge cases I use, such that I don't have to worry about clipping it on or forgetting to bring it with me on a trip. I've used it for over three months now and have yet to need to replace the rechargeable battery I put inside it. I do agree that "flipping it up" to use is a little awkward at first, but once you get used to it, it's easy to do (and you don't end up pulling the whole thing apart like you might in the beginning!). It has two light settings, and the switch is a little strange, but I liked that I could control how bright I needed the light to be in different settings. On the whole, I think this is a must-have accessory for the Kindle, particularly if you're using an M-Edge case (or another such case that incorporates the light). You will have to give yourself time to get used to how it works, but once you do, you'll never stop reading, even in the dark!

The M-Edge e-luminator2 is the best book lite I have ever had. It slides down snug between the cover and the Kindle DX. The flexible light head works for any position you are holding the book. And the dual strength light gives me bright, focused light when I need it (like reading to my grandbaby) or a less broght light that is still plenty to read by (when the baby is sleeping).

I love it and find that i can use it with other covers that don/t have the little pocket from M edge but i also have 4 from M edge that have the pocket too. I have the nice Diane Von Furstenburg cover ($$$$) but it work with that. I especially love that you can rotate it. this is what allows me to use with with pocket-less covers. and i think it is just fine light intensity. Its meant to not disturb others but allow you to read, not light a freak'in room. I can use it and not bother my hubby laying right next to me and when I'm on planes i HATE when someone book light is ridiculously bright and obnoxious this will not do that.

This light works well with my Kindle. It lights the whole Kindle, so once it's set you don't have to move it. It lays flat in the case when not in use. I'm happy with this light.

I bought this for my wife. She has a Kindle DX I got her for X-mas. She was very reluctant about it, now she loves it. When she saw the light, she said: why would I ever need that? Now she loves it too, she uses it all the time. Very convenient and very light. Definitely a keeper.
