I saw the Kindle DX was coming out soon, but it’s damn expensive. I know there’s other products like it out there — I just don’t know what they are. If they’re cheaper but virtually the same, I’ll get it. Does anyone know what some are?

What Do You Think About The Kindle?
Hello! I am considering asking for a Amazon’s Kindle reading device as a Christmas present, and was hoping to get some feedback on it. If you have one, how do you like it? What additional functions do you use it for besides reading? Can you still browse the internet on it? Do you feel like the cost of the books is a good value? Is the screen in color? Does it feel durable, or light and flimsy? And, if you’ve ever had problems with it, does Amazon repair or replace?
